I am an editor based in Reading, Berkshire.

I have always had a passion for filmmaking. Growing up, I would spend weekends and school holidays in rural Devon with my family. However, with no television I was forced to make my own entertainment. Using a video camera and my imagination I made short films that ranged from daytime television parodies with my two sisters, to simple LEGO stop motions.

 

During a 4 Year degree course in BA (Hons) Film Production at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham editing quickly became my passion and I specialised in the role. I have gained invaluable experience working on a diverse range of film projects and learnt the importance of closely collaborating with the director and other post production roles.

 

These film projects have also allowed me to develop my creativity, problem solving and expand my technical knowledge and skillset. I am capable and confident in using both AVID Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, along with being experienced in editing digitised 16mm film. I have also proven myself to be effective in planning and managing post-production workflow and meeting deadlines.
